Adventure Bros. ADV Skills Class
Lance Thomas from Adventure Brothers will be teaching the ADV Skills Class again this year at the Adventure Rally Series in Julian. This year he will be teaching two 3 hour Basic/intermediate classes.
THURSDAY CLASS #1 - 9:00am - 12:00pm
FRIDAY CLASS #1 - 9:00am - 12:00pm
FRIDAY CLASS #2 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
SATURDAY CLASS - 9:00am - 12:00pm
The class will be working on: Standing while riding, Slow speed balance control, Counterbalancing in turns, Braking in the dirt, Other important off road riding skills as time permits.

Blacksmithing by Lance
This year Lance Thomas will be returning to the Julian Adventure Rally Series with his mobile Blacksmithing booth. The awards Will once again be made by Lance Thomas Blacksmithing and will be on display at Lances both . In the evenings starting at 4 PM Lance will be doing blacksmithing demonstrations at his booth. If you would like to try your hand at blacksmithing,for $20 Lance will show you how to make a forged hook . You will get to make a wall hook from start to finish with Lance instructing you in the process and you’ll get to keep the hook you make when your finished . Last year many people had the opportunity to work with Lance and enjoyed the chance to try their hand at blacksmithing.
WIELD AN AXE AND HONE YOUR SKILLS
Calling All Warriors. Come and partake in the exciting new sport of competitive axe throwing. Wield a 1.5 Lb axe and hurl it at your target. Show up and we'll teach you how to throw like a pro in no time. After signing in, you’ll receive an introduction, then proceed with the fun. Our trained staff are always available to answer questions.
The Film will be shown Friday the 8th at 7:00pm. The film features 4-time Baja 1000 Champion and Dakar Rally Racer Quinn Cody of KTM, along with the BDR Team, taking a first run on the new Southern California route. The spectacular yet challenging 820-mile ride across the south-eastern region of California, starts in Yuma, AZ, and ends in Benton, CA. Primarily using rugged two-track and remote dirt roads the route leads riders through majestic canyons, rocky riverbeds, and sandy washes of California’s famous deserts and national preserves. You’ll experience quirky desert enclaves and ghost towns, visit historic mines, see ancient petroglyphs and intaglios, dip in healing mineral hot springs and ride among the unique Joshua trees in the Mojave National preserve.
Tap Truck is the mobile bar service sweeping our great nation by storm. What started out as a desire for finding the best local craft beverages, combined with a passion for restoring old pick-up trucks has produced the concept of Tap Truck. Wearing custom cuts each member owns his own flavor of renegade; “Bristles” charging on drums leading the pack, "Rocky Bottoms" snarky as he plucks away at the bass and lead vocals, “Richie Rich” picking guitar and singing, and “the prospect” playing guitar with back up vocals rounding out the band.
