Find more than 125 points—spread across mountains, valleys, deserts, and more!
March 15, 2018, immaculate Irvine, CA — Join the expanded GEICO Motorcycle Adventure Rally & Camp in 2018—the first-ever SoCal stop for the Adventure Rally, November 8–11, in Julian. The format is evolving from our past Adventure Rally Sierra and Rockies Editions, creating even more opportunities to discover diverse riding, in a location just waiting to be discovered on adventure motorcycles
Changes include options to ride one, two, or three days of the event. We will honor top point collectors each day as well as the team that collects the most points overall three days. A more robust offering of camping options is also a big change. From tents to RVs to on-site cabins, all are available at our Stagecoach Trails Base Camp (stagecoachtrails.com). Camping not your thing? Just 12 miles up the road is Julian, California, with plenty of lodging to fit any taste and budget. Other changes include an increased vendor area, a lower cost to participate, and expanded food options—including the ability to bring your own.
The result? More riding and overnight options and opportunities, more cool happenings at base camp, and more adventure! Think of it like summer camp—but with adventure motorcycles and post-ride beer and stuff. And it happens in the fall instead of summer.
Taking part is easy.
It’s a team event, needing at least two riders to form a team, but you can ride with as many teammates as you desire, so long as you go to all points together.
**Teams can earn points the following ways: **

New this year, teams can participate for a day, two, or all three. An evening gathering will allow us to review point totals, rider notes, and other needed participant information. Our partners will also have lots of cool information, activities, and more to share.
Other base camp activities will include rider training and skills courses allowing you to build and hone your skills. Meals will be available for purchase from our official catering partners, with our group BBQ and party planned for Saturday evening.

Learn the basics of ADV riding from experienced riders who will teach you the proper techniques and help get you comfortable maneuvering an adventure bike in the dirt before you venture off the asphalt.
The ranking system of our points of interest means your team can tune your own adventure, choosing points as difficult or easy as you desire. Stay within your comfort level and have just as much fun racking up the miles!
